Saathiya begins with Kokila and Gopi being upset on seeing the argument between the two groups of dandia function headed by Urmila and Durga pooja function headed by Bengali women.
Kokila and bengali head member hardly manage to maintain peace between both parties. But Urmila decides to insult bengali women.
Modi fami, Bengali women, and Urmila’s family reach the function place. Kokila, Urmila and other women are shocked when Dhawal informs them that bengali women switched off the light from their side.
Rashi is worried now about how to celebrate dandia without light. Kokila consoles her and Gopi prays to Kanhaji to sort out all the problems soon.
