Bhabho speaking on phone to someone to deliver home what she ordered. Suraj comes there and she gives him the handle she bought for Dhanteras. Suraj is happy for that and tells he will prepare bhog for Lakshmi with that handle in the shop. Bhabho blesses him. He goes to the shop and starts his work. Some person comes there asking for Suraj and gives him gift bags. Suraj is surprised who sent it and at the same time he gets a call. The person who had offered business contract to Suraj speaks on the phone and again Suraj declines his offer saying he is happy with whatever he is doing and has no interest in his offer.
Sandhya in GG room is thinking about how much Suraj cares for her and her dream and is in thoughts of agreeing with Suraj when Bhabho comes there with a person carrying a heavy box (tailoring machine). He places it down and Bhabho is excited about where to keep the machine. She first thinks of keeping it on the bed, then near the door and is thinking of a suitable place and finds the study table. She asks the person to keep it on that table who pushes the pen stand (glass) and keeps the machine over the pen. Sandhya is sad seeing this. Bhabho is all excited and is explaining Sandhya that everything happens for a reason. That is why, the tailor master deniedteaching Sandhya so that they can get their own machine and learn from house. She encourages Sandhya saying like she lighted 151 diyas faster than Daisa's beendani, she will also learn sewing faster and Bhabho swears she will make Daisa wear clothes stitched by Sandhya and leaves from there. Sandhya goes to the machine and takes her pen.
Sandhya goes to shop. Suraj offers her sweets but she refuses. He is concerned seeing her sad and asks her what. She keeps the pen there and tells she does not need it anymore as she has decided not to continue her studies. Some customer comes and Suraj attends him. He then questions her that she was looking happy in the morning and what happened now. Sandhya says whatever Suraj is trying to give life to her dream, it has already dead and final rituals have all been performed. Suraj asks her think as he has made so many arrangements. She says she respects Suraj's efforts in trying to make her achieve her dream but she has realized her duties as an elder daughter-in-law of the house and would be doing only those things within the limits of Sandhya Rathi and that would be good for both of them. She tells him to attend the customers as it is a festival day and leaves for home. Some customers come and Suraj asks Pappuda to handle them and calls Sandhya. He holds her hand and says he needs to talk to her and takes her to the side. Again, they have argument on this issue and Sandhya tells she has decided not to continue her studies. Ankur is coming to their home carrying the baby and sweets and gift bags and talking on the phone to Ankita who informs she does not think she could be able to come to Rathis house. Ankur asks her to get permission and come somehow. He sees SurYa talking outside the house and gets concerned, asks them whether everything is okay. Suraj says everything is alright and welcomes him home. Meena who was coming out of the house welcomes him and goes to their shop.
Vikram showing sarees to an old day who selects a saree. She calls Vikram as son and requests for discount saying this could also be her last diwali and all. Vikram agrees and gives her Rs. 100 discount. Meena seeing this decides to teach the old lady a lesson. She goes to the shop, puts pallu over her head and touches the old lady's feet and asks for her gift. The old lady is shocked and asks who is she. Meena explains that she is her just now adopted son's wife and requests mooh-dikhayi gift and sees a gold chain that lady is wearing and asks her to gift it. The old lady scolds her but Meena gives her a fit reply and all the people sitting in the shop laugh at her. That old lady is embarassed and gives the full amount and takes the saree. Meena warns Vikram to not give any discount to anyone.
Ankur gives the sweets and gifts to Bhabho. Mohit who is sitting there asks Ankiur how many days leave he has. Ankur is shocked but then manages to say 2-3 days. Bhabho stares at Mohit and asks Ankur about Ankita. He says she is having a headache and so he came alone. Sandhya is concerned for her bhabhi and scolds Ankur to have been there with her rather than coming here. Ankur is giving excuses at which time Ankita comes there. All are shocked. Bhabho asks her how is her headache and Ankur signals her. She manages saying she is okay now.
Ankur and Ankita have left and Sandhya is collecting the empty tea cups. Mohit in the balcony counting the money he has (some 500 rupees notes). Bhabho is going upstairs with her pickle jar. Sandhya notices some money in the chair Ankur was sitting and thinks Ankur might have left it unknowingly. She takes and runs out as they might not have gone far. Ankur and Ankita's rickshaw just moves and Sandhya calls them and returns them the money. Mohit who sees this calls Bhabho and asks her to see them telling Sandhya is giving money to Ankur.
Precap: Seems like the next day. Suraj calls everyone to the hall...Bhabho, Bhabhasa, vikram, Mohit, Chavvi all that he wants to tell them something. Sandhya who is in the kitchen wonders what.
