There is a knock on Manav and Archana's room .They both come out .Their family gives them a surprise by coming out of their rooms and wishing them happy anniversary . Manav and Archana cut a cake and all the family happily claps and feed the cake to each other .

Arjun is leaving for work in the morning .Ovi is fast asleep . Arjun calls his office to tell them that he is on his way to the meeting but they tell him that Ovi got all the meetings cancelled for today .Arjun is a bit shocked but tells his staff to reschedule the meetings again as they were all important .DK is waiting for Arjun at the breakfast table . He makes Arjun drink a glass of milk and Arjun tells him that Ashna would do this but would also put chocolate in his milk .Both Father and son spend some good quality time as they talk about Ashna and how she taught them about relationships .DK lovingly gives blessings to Arjun for the meeting .

Manav and Archana go down to bring water .A lady wishes them and telsl them that they should spend their anniversary together and make it a special day .She asks them why they are still living in a chawl and why not in a big banglow .Manav answers her that he started his life in this chawl and loves living here as the whole atmosphere of people around him, the little squabbles, the celebrations are all such fun that they will miss this if they lived in a banglow .Archana also says that she feels connected to the Chawl as she first came here as a young bride .She also says that she is used to all these nice people around her that will feel lonely without them . She says that both Manav and her were happy when they did not have money but were living in this chawl and now all this Chawl gives them so much joy ...

Teju wants Sunny to help her with the part decorations .His mausi comes and starts talking so much , giving advises and all that then Sunny tells Charulata to go and help Snehlata . Sunny takes Teju to some one called Dalip bhai who will take care of the decorations .Now Sunny wants Teju to treat him for a coffee so they can spend some time together. Teju feels relieved that he is only asking for coffee .Sunny wants to know what she is thinking but Teju does not tell say anything .

Manav gifts Archana green coloured glass bangles .He tells her that he got these for her because he used to gift these bangles to her when they first got married .Archana is very happy to see her favourite bangles and puts them on immediately .

Teju is talking to Sunny on the phone about the party .Savita wanted her to call Ovi and tell her about it as well but Teju is not leaving the phone so Savita tells Purvi to call Ovi and tell her about their plans .These guys want Manav and Archana to leave the house for a while so they can get the house ready for a party but Manav and Archana must not know as the party is a surprise .Manav and Archaan are not going out as they want to spend the day at home with theri family and eat ghar ka khana . Now the rest of the family does not know how to get them out of the house . Somehow the family convinces them to go to the mandir to take Bappa's blessings . They want everyone to come as well and then again the family is in a dilemma and they all make excuses as to why they cannot come ...

Manav and Archana go to get ready for the mandir and the family is happy that at last they will now go out .

Ovi and Arjun are talking on the phone .Ovi is looking very disturbed . She first asks Arjun about his meeting and Arjun answers that the meeting went well. Then she wants to know when he will make it to the party as she wanted to go with him but Arjun would probably go late so Ovi says that she will go alone .Ovi tells Arjun that she wanted to talk to him about something important but he just left for work in the morning .Arjun says that he tried to wake her up but she was fast asleep .

Purvi calls Ovi , Ovi is very curt on the phone and Purvi is feeling very awkward .Purvi tells ovi that savita wants to know how Ovi will come to the hotel as even Arjun is not with her .Ovi gets angry that Purvi seems to know about Arjun's whereabouts . Purvi says that Arjun himself told everyone that day at the karabjkar house that he will be going to Pune on this day .Ovi is still annoyed that Purvi seems to know more about arjun than Arjun's wife ..She strictly tells Puvi to keep away from her husband and abruptly cuts the phone .Purvi is very shocked and does not know what to say .

Precap : Damodar is telling DK , on the phone , about this party .He tells DK that it is his responsibility to bring Manav and Archana to the hotel which is the party venue ...
