The Aarti plate falls down and the light from Diya goes out , Nimay’s Mom is shaken up ..Nimay comforts his mother , assures her that nothing will go wrong …
Nimay walks outside , A worried Vani runs behind Nimay and hands over lemon to ward of Nimay .. There follows a brief Mom – Son affectionate moment.. Nimay drives away to his office , the worried eyes of his mother follows him… Nimay leaves the 3 ladies waiting at the threshold …Nimay’s Granny urges everyone to begin the preparation..
Tyagi and family get ready and leave for the venue, Sayali’s Mom is searching for Samar and is told by Tyagi that Samar is engaged in a hectic preparation and one of a kind…preparation..
Samar is waiting for the killer in some public place..the killer arrives ..and says he is ready
Nimay’s family leaves for the venue , Tyagi and his side of the family await for Nimay’s family..Pretty soon Nimay ‘s family comes … Tyagi expresses his surprise at the absence of Nimay and is told by Nimay’s Mom that Nimay has gone to the office and will be slightly late.. Tyagi is reassured…
Sayali is brought to the Hall and the engagement ceremony begins , Sayali takes the blessings of Rajhans elders and is then seated at the special chair ..
Nimay is driving when Nimay’s Mom calls him and urges him to hurry , Nimay assures his mom that he will reach the venue on time..Nimay ends the call turns around and is shocked to see something !
ENGAGEMENT HALL ;
Song and dance begins … The engagement ceremony proceeds ..Gifts are being given to Sayali. Nimay’s Mom tells Sayali that Nimay never listens to her but Sayali must make Nimay obey her.. Nimay’s Mom comes to know that Sayali never called up Nimay , This gets Nimay’s Mom worried..
She begins to get anxious when Nimay does not answer her phones..
Just then Samar walks in and joins the celebrations…The song and dance continues …
Meanwhile the anxiety of Nimay’s Mom is infecting the concerned ladies.. The continued absence of Nimay pretty soon engulfs the whole engagement in worry and anxiety .. All try to call up Nimay’s phone but the phone remains unanswered …
