Diya Aur Baati Hum 21st January 2013 written update

Episode starts with Meena rejoicing the sorry state of SurYa and saying she will now enjoy the spotlight and will be the best bahu of Rathi household.


Vikram says the task is not easy to rise up in Bhabo’s eyes and for that she will have to make lot of Papads (bohut papad belna parega )


Meena thinks in her mind that easier task is to make Bhabo see how Sandhya is inept at household works, and she will deliberately do things which will induce mistakes from Sandhya’s end and lo & behold, she will automatically rise up in the eye of Bhabo


Bhabo came from a place, and Meena asks Bhabo if any occasion is there in house, and Bhabo says yeah there are lot of work as some ritual is to be conducted, asks Sandhya to make food and do kitchen work, and says she will go to market to buy some necessary items


Meena takes all responsibility of kitchen work, Bhabo says she doesn’t want Meena working in pregnancy state as doctor has advised her rest. Meena now says Sandhya will mess up and create embarrassment in front of guests and says she is available and will do the work on behalf of Bhabo, Bhabo says okay then she will handle all work of kitchen and she will go to market along with Suraj


Meena says she can only take responsibility of her own work, but she won’t be responsible for the works which Sandhya will do, Bhabo says as Meena took total responsibility of kitchen, she will be responsible for Sandhya’s mistakes as well and if any embarrassment occurs in front of guests then first Meena will be hauled up


Meena cowers in fear, Bhabasa says what condition Bhabo gave to our Sayaani Beedni she entrapped herself in her own web

Bhabo goes to Suraj and asks if he has time to go to market, and Suraj readily agrees, says why bhabo is saying like this, and like he doesn’t find time for her or what, but Bhabo says now we don’t have that same relation as of old and neither do Bhabo believe in every word of Suraj nowadays Nevertheless Suraj agrees and takes her out.

Meena does most of the work herself out of fear, she doesn’t let Sandhya to do anything as she wants all the credit and says Sandhya not to do anything as she will do one mistake or another, she is pretty inept in all these


At market Suraj is aghast regarding bhabo buying some dress and Bhabo says him not to question much but just to go and make sure dress is stitched properly

Bhabo returns from market, Meena brags about all the work that she did and how she made effort cooking all the dishes, Bhabo says okay, and also praises her cooking skills, says the sweet smell of food is telling that Meena did everything perfect


Mohit is with Emily, and Mohit says that Sandhya isn’t as good as Emily fathoms her, her outer good nature is just a cloak but on inside she is very much vicious and she ruined his MBA aspiration, and when the whole family and Suraj as well was ready to fund his MBA education, Sandhya convinced the family not to let Mohit study MBA for which now he had to do this job, says Sandhya is not so as she outwardly appears


Seems like Emily is convinced and says she will broke all ties with Sandhya, will not keep friendship with her and will make sure that their relationship is kept as a secret from Sandhya and Emily is shocked to know that Sandhya is like this


At Rathi Mansion, Dhaisa now came and says she has shagun ready (gifts for newborn) and had come with it as Bhabo called her, says she was happy with the news and from beginning Bhabo has won hands down in challenges and whatever she said she showed by doing that, and never for once her words failed.


That’s the reason she came with preparations to receive good news as she is confident Bhabo has delivered the goods this time


Bhabo arranges for laddo, and other necessary items and asks Sandhya to get ready to receive blessings for her future endeavors.


Dhaisa comes up and blesses Sandhya, says may she deliver a healthy baby male/female and may that make Bhabo and family members happy
