Nowshera: 7 injured in blast near KP minister’s residence

NOWSHERA: Seven people including labourers were injured in a blast near the residence of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Mian Iftikhar, Geo News reported.

Rescue teams have been dispatched, while police and LEAs have cordoned off the area.

The injured have been rushed to the nearby hospital.

Police said the blast took place when the labourers started work at a site where construction was underway. The house of Mian Iftikhar was near the site of blast, however, the minister was not present at that time. The information minister is in Peshawar.
