Rangers aided by a helicopter launch targeted operation in Manghopir

KARACHI: At least fifteen suspects were hauled up and more than hundred weapons recovered by Rangers during a targeted operation that started in the wee hours on Sunday and continued until noon in different areas of Monghopir here, Geo News reported.

Sources said that the Rangers surrounding the targeted areas blocked all entry/exit roads and none was allowed to come out or get into the area before starting a vigorous search operation of the hideouts of banned outfits and other criminals. A helicopter provided aerial cover to the Rangers personnel during operation, sources said.

At least 15 suspects were taken into custody and over 100 small and heavy weapons were recovered from them. The suspects are being grilled for further information.
