The show depicts the struggle of Jhahnvi, who is faced with any girl's worst fear - an over-possessive and abusive husband, Viraj. To the outside world, Viraj is suave and charming; at home he is a completely different man. Viraj, who has had an abusive childhood, is irrationally dominating while being sweet, polite and nice at the same time, causing Jhahnvi to go to great lengths to keep him from getting angry and stay on his good side, so as to save their marriage. While everyone sees Viraj as the perfect husband, it is only Jhahnvi who knows and deals with the manipulative and irrational side of him.
