Sandhya is making baatis from cotton. She is making it much bigger than the normal size. Bhabho comes there and sees it. She takes one baati and tells Sandhya that one could do three baatis from it and shows how to do it. Sandhya understands. Bhabho tells her to do 151 baatis. Sandhya wonders and asks Bhabho whether they would light so much diyas in the house. Bhabho explains her that lighting diyas in the temple on Dhanteras makes their wish come true and Bhabho is expecting good news from SurYa and that is why she is taking Sandhya to the temple to light diyas and asks her to be ready in the evening. Sandhya thinks she has to inform Suraj that they could go out some other day. Bhabho sees this and tells whether she has any plan to going out and even if such plans are there, to postpone it for some other day as lighting diyas in the temple is more important. Meena comes in there hiding her medicine bottle in the saree. Bhabho inquires her and she cooks up a story of having gone to temple and in excitement to answer Bhabho's question helds out her hand and Bhabho and Sandhya ask about the medicine bottle. She again says she has cough and it is kada and she has to drink it. Sandhya advises not to take any harmful medicines and Meena says these are homemade medicines and she believes them more than doctor's prescriptions and Bhabho allows her to go inside. Mohit comes there and Bhabho and Mohit leave for market.
Suraj is binding and labeling note books for Sandhya. He is happy that all the things necessary are ready for Sandhya to attend the classes. Bhabho comes there and Suraj covers the note books with some cloth and turns. He is scared of Bhabho finding out about it. Bhabho tells she is going to market and whether Suraj needs anything for the shop. Suraj says to her that every year she brings an utensil of her choice and gives it as blessings and this year also, he would like her to do the same. Suraj gives money and they leave.
Suraj is frying samosas and an unknown person comes there blabbering about Suraj's culinary skills, WTC fame andclicking pics of Suraj and the shop. Suraj is wondering who could be it and this person all the while talking takes a jalebi himself, tastes it and praises it. He takes autograph from Suraj and clicks pics. He then takes a hot samosa and tastes it while Suraj is about to warn that they are too hot. They both go into the shop and that person offers some business contract to sign. Suraj declines it saying he is happy with the way he is. That person asks Suraj to discuss with the family, then gives his card to Suraj to call later after thinking over it again but Suraj returns all his gifts and says his answer would be the same the next day also. That person says it takes just seconds to change decisions and leaves the contract there itself and advises Suraj to give it a thought.
Bhabho and Mohit purchasing utensils for house and Suraj's shop while Bhabho sees a glimpse of Ankita at a distance who is giving demo of water filter to some customers. While Bhabho is still wondering how could Ankita be there, Ankita's boss calls her and she goes inside the shop and some other person takes over her work. Bhabho sees towards the shop again and sees another person and concludes her eyesight is defective in daytime too.
Meena in her room collecting all her medicines and throwing it out of the window and saying she is going to just drink vaidyarani's medicines from now on. She drinks a spoon of it hesitatingly and takes another spoon after tasting it once. Vikram comes there with hiding something behind him. Meena startles and Vikram says he has a surprise for her and have a guess. Meena guesses it is some haar and Vikram is worried of expenses. She then fails to guess and Vikram shows her the sweet box and tells he has bought the pedas especially for her through a customer. Meena is happy and goes to eat it but then remembers vaidyarani's advice of not to eat or drink anything that whole day except the medicine she gave Meena. Meena says she is not feeling like eating sweets today. Vikram is shocked and checks whether her health is okay and drags her to go to the doctor. Meena sits down telling she is okay and just not feeling to eat anything. Vikram tries to feed her and is interrupted byChathuri. Vikram offers Chathuri sweets and Meena is helpless. Seeing Meena's cold reaction, he gives the whole box of pedas to Chathuri.

Suraj is not there and Chotu informs he has gone out to deliver sweets and will not be back until evening. Sandhya tries to call Suraj's mobile and they find that the mobile is left in the shop. Sandhya is worried that she could not inform Suraj.
Precap: Suraj is bringing Sandhya to the college with her eyes covered with a cloth. She is asking where are they going and Suraj removes the cloth from her eyes and shows the college name board. Sandhya is seeing it happily.
