Dhaisa was about to bless Sandhya regarding her child and was about to do some ritual regarding it (Godvarai ki rasam) when Bhabo asked her to stop and says the good news is something else, not Sandhya’s child
Dhaisa in shock, says now what happened and why Santosh invited everyone then?
Bhabo says some other good news is awaiting them and so she has called everyone asks them to have some patience and wait awhile
Now Bhabo asks Suraj to make the necessary arrangements and (maybe) binging chair, stool and police cap now
Bhabo says now 1st time my beedni (DIL) is going to break away from normal tradition, and like every other DIL has to cover head with pallu, but my DIL will have a cap on her head
Bhabo now carries on, says every DIL has karchi (big stirring teaspoon) in their hand but my Beedni (DIL) will have a stick in her hand and she will give rounds in villages, towns, cities as she by birth has got right to become a police officer which Bhabo herself cannot snatch
Bhabo further says her beedni (DIL) has a dream of becoming an IPS officer and so on this auspicious day of Republic Day she wants to bless her by giving her all this things like cap and police stick. Dhaisa and others are aghast and says to Bhabo that what happened to her dream of grandchildren and why she is behaving in a weird fashion
Dhaisa goes on to say that only the other day she was sewing cap of suraj so that she can give it to her grandchild and now what happened, she also had sent SurYa for having grandchildren only
Bhabo says she is behaving as per wish of everyone and she just now learnt that DIL’s happiness is everyone’s happiness and so trying to happy and satisfied in whatever way possible
Bhabo now asks everyone to bless the would-be police officer so that in next Republic day everyone can see Sandhya as the new police officer with uniform and all
Sandhya unable to take anymore begs forgiveness from Bhabo, Bhabo takes her to a side
Bhabo says to Sandhya (aside) that is it true that she didn’t develop physical intimacy with Suraj just for the sake of her becoming police officer and which would have created impediments in the IPS making process, and asks the truth on God’s name.
Sandhya was about to say something when Dhaisa came and asks Bhabo what’s the matter and what is she saying to Sandhya
Bhabo wards off the conversation and just says to Dhaisa that she was seeking blessings of God and went to the courtyard again Sandhya doesn’t get opportunity to say anything to Bhabo
At courtyard Bhabo asks Dhaisa to play the Dhol loudly so that she can dance her way to happiness as she is extremely happy on this news
Looks like Dhaisa is unaware of this intellectual fight and seems confused by Bhabo’s antics, says how come Bhabo can be happy with this news.
At the end of dance, Bhabo says she showed enough of her happiness and they all may leave now. No more dance performance
